Tomorrow, on May 21, it will be possible to congratulate the main river of the country in an environmentally friendly way: in support of the national project "Ecology", an action on clearing the banks will be held in Kazan.

The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan held a meeting of the expert commission of the state ecological expertise, where they discussed the limit of hunting resources extraction on the territory of Tatarstan for the period from August 1, 2022 to August 1, 2023.

Within the framework of the International program "Eco-schools/Green Flag", the XI All-Russian Festival of Pedagogical Ideas on Environmental Education was held in the Eco-Center "Dom" in the Gorkinsko-Ometyevsky Forest. It was attended by Olga Madison, coordinator of the International Eco-Schools/Green Flag Program in Russia, experts of the Educational Policy Council under the St. Petersburg Education Committee, heads and teachers of educational institutions in the regions of Russia and inspectors of our territorial administrations.  

Since the start of the sanitary and ecological two-month period, the supervisory authorities have identified 4,909 violations (3,757 of them were eliminated), 2,039 protocols were drawn up, administrative fines totaling 4,676 million rubles were imposed. 3,753 places of unauthorized waste disposal were identified, 3,027 (80.7%) were liquidated.

Today, the inspectors of the CTA of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan have again set out following the complaints from residents of Kazan, who reported another fact of the presence of foam in the drainage ditch in the Privolzhsky district. Today, during the visit of the ecologists, foam forming was not detected.

The head of the Lower Volga Basin Water Management of the Federal Agency of Water Resources Nikolay Ponomarev arrived in Tatarstan on a working visit.

A meeting of the Interdepartmental Working Group on regulation of the operation modes of the reservoirs of the Volga-Kama Cascade was held today. It was attended by representatives of Rosrybolovstvo, Rosmorrechflot, Roshydromet, RAO "UES of Russia", PJSC "RusHydro" and executive authorities of subjects, including Volgograd, Astrakhan, Saratov regions, the Republic of Mari El. Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Alexander Shadrikov and a representative of JSC Tatenergo took part in the meeting on behalf of the Republic of Tatarstan. Also, the Deputy head of the Tatar branch of the VNIRO Federal State Budgetary Institution, Yuri Severov was present at the meeting.

Specialists of the Central Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan, together with representatives of the Rosprirodnadzor of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Administrative and Technical Inspection Department of the Executive Committee of Kazan and the Gorky Railway, today made a second inspection of the railway right-of-way within the framework of the sanitary and ecological two-month period. The main goal is to control and prevent unauthorized storage of waste. The raid took place along the route: "Kazan – Vysokaya Gora – Vosstaniya – Sviyazhsk – Laishevo – Kazan"

Subordinate to the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan GBU "NPO Geocenter RT" has received an indefinite license of Roshydromet. This is a mandatory document, a kind of guarantor of the quality of activities in the field of hydrometeorology and related fields.  

This year, the organizers deliberately abandoned paper cups at the marathon and preferred plastic bottles, which are easier to assemble and give them a second life. "It is important for us to make the marathon eco-friendly, to develop a culture of responsible attitude to nature among our participants," said Vadim Yangirov, director of the Kazan Marathon.
