Landfills along the railway tracks have become 2 times less
Specialists of the Central Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan, together with representatives of the Rosprirodnadzor of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Administrative and Technical Inspection Department of the Executive Committee of Kazan and the Gorky Railway, today made a second inspection of the railway right-of-way within the framework of the sanitary and ecological two-month period. The main goal is to control and prevent unauthorized storage of waste. The raid took place along the route: "Kazan – Vysokaya Gora – Vosstaniya – Sviyazhsk – Laishevo – Kazan"
During the detour, 32 violations were revealed. This is two times less than was revealed during the first detour (then 69 places of unauthorized waste storage were identified). 5 landfills were found on the territory of the Vysokogorsky district of the Republic of Tatarstan, 4 in the Zelenodolsk district, 2 in Laishevsky. On the territory of Kazan, 21 places of unauthorized garbage storage were identified: in the Sovetsky district – 4, in Moskovsky and Kirovsky – 7, in Vakhitovsky and Privolzhsky - 4, in the Aviastroitelny and Novo-Savinovsky – 6.
According to the revealed facts of violation of environmental legislation, letters will be sent to the heads of the district administration to eliminate the offense.
