Specialists of the Zavolzhsky territorial Administration and the Volga-Kama Interregional Department of Rosprirodnadzor conducted a survey of oil sludge barns (previously there was an asphalt plant there) in the Karatunsky rural settlement. The area of the contaminated site is 1.54 hectares. There are residential buildings near this territory, and the Sviyaga River is a natural monument half a kilometer away.

Unauthorized waste storage was detected by inspectors of the Zakamsky territorial Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan on the outskirts of the village of Tuba of the Kaenlinsky rural settlement. An environmental violation was recorded during the monitoring of the Nizhnekamsk district. The total area of the contaminated site was 6696 sq.m., the volume of the landfill was 2678 cubic meters.

Implementing the project of ecological education of preschoolers, the staff of the Buinsky kindergarten "Fairy Tale" opened the playground "Ecological trail". The event was also attended by inspectors of the Zavolzhsky Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Let us recall that, according to the information received from the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Republic of Tatarstan about the fire at the "Khiton" plant, inspectors of the Central Territorial Administration and specialists of the Laboratory of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan promptly carried out a field visit.

On August 13, a workshop was held in the exhibition hall of the National Library of the Republic of Tatarstan - the final lesson of the City Laboratory "Citizen-scientist". The participants presented and defended their environmental projects to the experts.

Let us recall that the Ministry received a complaint that the local lake was painted pink. On August 1, inspectors of the Central Territorial Administration and specialists of the laboratory of the Ministry of Ecology went to the Zelenodolsk district following complaints from residents.  

The Ministry's hotline received a message from residents of the village of Churilino that the Kazanka River in this area had turned milky. An operational field visit was organized together with employees of the environmental supervision laboratory. During the survey, the fact of fish kill by inspectors was not revealed, visually the Kazanka River in this place is whitish in color.

Today, more than a hundred caring people came to clean the Volga bank in the Admiralty settlement of Kazan.  The order in the coastal and underwater zone was brought by divers of the regional branch of the Russian Geographical Society, employees of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, activists of the public movement "It will Be Clean", representatives of large enterprises, volunteers and all concerned residents of our republic.

Since the beginning of August, activists of the public organization "NoMoreTrash" in Naberezhnye Chelny have been conducting environmental play classes for children on playgrounds. "In summer, in good weather, we want the guys to spend their time usefully. That's why we came up with an exciting eco-station," the activists say.
