A huge landfill was liquidated after the intervention of environmentalists
Unauthorized waste storage was detected by inspectors of the Zakamsky territorial Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan on the outskirts of the village of Tuba of the Kaenlinsky rural settlement. An environmental violation was recorded during the monitoring of the Nizhnekamsk district. The total area of the contaminated site was 6696 sq.m., the volume of the landfill was 2678 cubic meters.
A warning was issued to the executive committee of the Nizhnekamsk district about the inadmissibility of violating the mandatory requirements of environmental legislation and the need to eliminate the violation within 60 days.
Currently, the violation has been eliminated, the landfill has been liquidated, the territory has been brought into proper sanitary and ecological condition.
