The Ministry analyzes the excess using the consolidated database of emission parameters of the city of Kazan to determine the source of pollution. At the other stations of the Ministry, no excess pollutants were recorded this week.

Today, inspectors of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan conducted an on-site survey of the Kazanka River on the research vessel "Flamingo". The purpose of the trip is to monitor the condition of the water body.

The South-Eastern Territorial Administration received a message from the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Republic of Tatarstan about an oil spill on the terrain near the Druzhba microdistrict. Specialists of the Volga-Kama Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan conducted supervisory activities in the water area of the Kama River for compliance with license conditions for the extraction of PGS by subsoil users. The qualifying stage of the All-Russian movement on professional skills "Professionals" took place in Moscow today. The Republic of Tatarstan is represented in the championship on the competence of "Environmental Protection" in the category "Juniors" by Ilya Kirdin, a student of the 8th grade of the Russian-Tatar school No. 87 in Kazan. During the survey of the territory of the Bavlinsky district, inspectors of the Priiksky TA of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan found unauthorized storage of waste on the territory of the Isergapovsky rural settlement. The area of the cluttered site was 2,100 sq.m., the volume of the landfill was 260 cubic meters.

It turns out that these tiny cyanobacteria, which we used to consider the culprits of the flowering of our reservoirs, are real record holders in the concentration of nutrients and valuable trace elements. What causes their rapid reproduction, detrimental to the ecosystem of rivers and lakes, why almost all rivers bloom and why such flowering is dangerous for biological resources – this will be told by Dmitry Ivanov, Candidate of Biological Sciences, Deputy Director of the Institute of Ecology and Subsoil Use of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan.

A diploma from the Fund for Rational Nature Management and gifts from the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan were presented to students of the Kulle-Kimin school named after Sibgat Khakim of the Atninsky district of Tatarstan for active participation in the program "Recycling School: Electronics". The guys of this school, despite the holidays, took the initiative themselves and collected the used scrap metal from the residents of the district in order to hand it over for recycling together.
