The Republic of Tatarstan is represented in the championship on the competence of "Environmental Protection" in the category "Juniors" by Ilya Kirdin, a student of the 8th grade of the Russian-Tatar school No. 87 in Kazan. Our countryman competes with six participants from all over Russia. Today, the young ecologist was supported by Deputy Minister of Ecology Egor Tarnavsky, who is on a working visit to Moscow.
"It is always difficult to defend the honor of the republic, but I am sure that Ilya will cope with his task and will do everything in his power to adequately represent Tatarstan at the federal level," said Deputy Minister Egor Tarnavsky.
As part of the qualifying stage, competitions in 45 competencies are held on the basis of 19 colleges in Moscow: 28 competencies of the main category - for college students and 17 categories of "Juniors" for schoolchildren from 14 years old. Let us recall that the competence "Environmental Protection" as part of the Championship appeared in 2020. The regional stage of this competence takes place on the basis of the Kazan Petrochemical College named after Lushnikov. The Ministry of Ecology actively cooperates with the Kazan Petrochemical College named after V. P. Lushnikov. The College is entrusted to be a basic educational institution in the competence of "Environmental protection".
