Operation Clean Air is nearing completion. Let us recall that it started in Tatarstan on June 1 and will last until the end of September. Since the beginning of the operation, inspectors of the territorial departments of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, together with employees of the Traffic Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan, have already checked 6,727 vehicles – these are 5,997 passenger cars, 359 trucks and 371 buses. The exhaust gases of 151 cars were found to exceed the standards for pollutants, which is 2.3% of all tested cars.

On September 29, at 10:00, cleaning will take place on the banks of the Kazanka River as part of the "Water of Russia" campaign of the federal project "Preservation of unique water bodies" of the national project "Ecology".

Today, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan hosted a meeting of the Anti-Corruption Commission chaired by First Deputy Minister Ilnur Gubaidullin.

Inspectors of the Kama Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan conducted surveillance activities in the waters of the Kuibyshev and Nizhnekamsk reservoirs. During the survey of the Kuibyshev reservoir between the villages of Prosti and Betki, experts found a floating crane that carried out sand extraction outside the boundaries of the license area. In total, the violator extracted 245 tons of sand-gravel mixture.

Specialists of the Northern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan held an eco-lesson outdoors for students of the Forestry school of the Arsky district.

During the monitoring of the city of Chistopol, inspectors of the Volga-Kama Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan revealed unauthorized storage of waste on Zagorodnaya Street. Construction and household waste, as well as car tires were stored here. The area of the contaminated site was 2500 sq.m., the volume of the landfill was 250 cubic meters.

Today, all employees of preschool education celebrate a professional holiday. Our inspectors have long been environmental assistants in the education of the younger generation, for many years the Ministry has been conducting environmental lessons in schools and kindergartens. Inspectors of the Zavolzhsky territorial administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan met today with the children of the Buinsky kindergarten "ABVGDEIKa".

Specialists of the Kama Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Volga-Kama Interregional Department of Rosprirodnadzor held an eco-lesson "Garbage on the planet" for 4th grade students of the Naberezhnye Chelny school No. 52. Environmentalists told why one must not litter, what kind of waste there is and how much it decomposes. A specialist of the 1st category of the Prikamsky TA, Leyla Galimova, reminded the children about the mobile application "School Eco-patrol", with which they can promptly report environmental violations.

The campaign will be held from October 2 to November 15 in support of the national project "Ecology". In the new season, the campaign will be held under the auspices of the All-Russian ecological movement "Ecosystem". "BoomBattle" is an opportunity to take care of nature by handing over paper for recycling. But, like any battle, it is also a competition for the amount of waste paper collected, where you can compete for the championship in a team or individual competition.
