What is waste: where does it come from and how to handle it? Schoolchildren of the Kama region of Tatarstan learned about this
Specialists of the Kama Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Volga-Kama Interregional Department of Rosprirodnadzor held an eco-lesson "Garbage on the planet" for 4th grade students of the Naberezhnye Chelny school No. 52. Environmentalists told why one must not litter, what kind of waste there is and how much it decomposes. A specialist of the 1st category of the Prikamsky TA, Leyla Galimova, reminded the children about the mobile application "School Eco-patrol", with which they can promptly report environmental violations.
The same lesson was held at school No. 1 of Elabuga. Ecologists of the Prikamsky TA and employees of Grint LLC held an interactive business game for schoolchildren, where the children needed to properly divide the garbage into containers. Involving children in the game, experts told about various ways of waste management, their disadvantages and advantages.
Gifts from the Ministry of Ecology, Rosprirodnadzor and Grint LLC were presented to all participants of eco-lessons as a souvenir.
