The Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan is extending the acceptance of applications for the republican ECO-leader competition. Educational institutions and public organizations, entrepreneurs and concerned residents, as well as journalists actively involved in environmental protection, can prepare and submit their work by December 1.

Tomorrow, the most active student, class, school and the best municipal district will be awarded at the Ekiyat Puppet Theater. For the 2024-2025 academic year, 3181 applications from 12 districts of Tatarstan were received for the School Ecopatrol competition. Over the 11 years of the competition, more than 54,000 violations have been recorded. 

During a survey of the territory of the city of Nizhnekamsk, inspectors from the Zakamsky Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan revealed a violation of environmental legislation. Near Pervoprokhodcev Street, inspectors detected an unauthorized dumping of industrial and consumer waste. The area of the violation was 30 sq. m. Environmentalists have calculated the damage caused to the soil. It amounted to 21 thousand rubles.

Since the beginning of the year, the Ministry's specialists have solved 5070 questions submitted to the Republican Public Environmental Reception. A total of 5,487 requests have been received since January 1.

An environmental lesson on safety rules in nature was held in kindergarten No. 22 "Kolokolchik" in Naberezhnye Chelny.

As part of the monitoring of the Yutazinsky district, inspectors of the Priiksky department revealed a violation of environmental legislation. On M. Zakiev Street in the village of Karakashli, environmentalists recorded unauthorized storage of construction waste.

The field meeting of the Incident 55 headquarters continued in the village of Koshchakovo in the Pestrechinsky district, where participants inspected sewage treatment plants built as part of the national Environmental Well-being project. This facility plays an important role in ensuring high-quality wastewater treatment.

An off-site meeting of the headquarters in the framework of Incident No. 55 was held in Tatarstan today, the main topic of which was the assessment and improvement of the efficiency of the treatment facilities built and reconstructed within the framework of the national project "Environmental well-being".

On November 18, at 2 p.m., the Ekiyat Puppet Theater will host an award ceremony for the winners of the republican School Ecopatrol competition.

As part of the review of the residents' appeals received through the "People's Control" system, inspectors from the Kama Department conducted a survey of the town of Yelabuga. On Tugarov Street, inspectors identified a place of unauthorized storage of industrial and consumer waste.
