Today, the Ministry held an expanded meeting of the Scientific and Technical Council under the leadership of the Minister of Ecology Alexander Shadrikov with the participation of the leadership of the Institute of Ecology and Subsoil Use of The Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan, representatives of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, the State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan for Biological Resources.

The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Tatarstan hosted a scientific and technical council chaired by Deputy Minister of Ecology Olga Manidicheva. The council members reviewed project proposals for the technology of neutralization and disposal of accumulated industrial waste in the village of Novy Kokshan and discussed monitoring and assessment of the quality of surface waters of the Blue Lakes system.

The participants of the NTS discussed issues of import substitution during the reclamation of MSW landfills, including the possibility of using active degassing technology developed by Kazan specialists.

The meeting of the Scientific and Technical Council was held at the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. Within the framework of the instructions given by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the agenda includes issues of further ecological rehabilitation of the Maloye Lebyazhye, Bolshoye Lebyazhye and Svetloye Lebyazhye lakes. The event was attended by Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Aleksandr Shadrikov, Deputy Chairman of the State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan for Biological Resources Ramil Sharafutdinov, Deputy Chairman of the Committee for External Improvement Eduard Vafin. Director of the RAS Institute of Lake Science Shamil Pozdnyakov was also invited to the meeting as an expert.
