Today, the Ministry held an expanded meeting of the Scientific and Technical Council under the leadership of the Minister of Ecology Alexander Shadrikov with the participation of the leadership of the Institute of Ecology and Subsoil Use of The Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan, representatives of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, the State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan for Biological Resources.
The meeting reviewed the results of the monitoring and assessment of the current ecological state of the Large and Small Blue Lakes, as well as scientifically sound recommendations for regulating the recreational load on the lake system. The scientific research work on the ecological state of the Blue Lakes systems was carried out by the Institute of Ecology and Subsoil Use of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan as part of the execution of the order of the Head of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov following the meeting on the further development of the specially protected natural area "Blue Lakes".
