During the first two weeks of the sanitary two-month period, which started in Tatarstan on April 1, environmental protection agencies and supervisory authorities revealed 888 violations, of which 485 were related to unauthorized waste disposal.

As part of the sanitary and environmental two-month period, inspectors of the Ministry of Ecology together with journalists today went on a raid on unauthorized waste disposal sites.

On April 18, within the framework of the sanitary and ecological two-month period, an air survey of the territories of 5 municipal districts was conducted. From the air, they examined the suburbs of Kazan, as well as the territories of Laishevsky, Pestrechinsky, Vysokogorsky and Zelenodolsk districts of Tatarstan. 

Since the beginning of the year, 17 automatic air pollution control stations have already performed more than 1.329 million measurements, including five automatic air pollution control stations in Kazan that have performed more than 414 thousand measurements.

An appeal was received from the Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the Almetyevsk district that a film of unknown origin had formed on the surface in the Cascade of Ponds reservoir.

314 applications were received by the Republican Public Environmental Reception for the period from April 8 to April 14. Unauthorized landfills have become the most pressing issue of concern to the population. 236 messages were received on this topic in a week. 

Since January 1, 17 automatic air pollution control stations of the Ministry have performed more than 1,244 million measurements, including more than 386 thousand measurements in Kazan. 

In order to prevent pollution of water bodies during the flood and to exclude the ingress of diffuse runoff into rivers and lakes, inspectors of the Ministry of Ecology regularly conduct raids to survey territories falling into the zone of possible flooding.
