This Saturday, at 20:30, let's all turn off the lights together, at least for an hour, to save our planet.  The Earth Hour campaign, created by the World Wildlife Fund, has been uniting all those who are not indifferent to environmental problems for many years. The main goal is to draw attention to the careful and responsible attitude to nature and the energy resources of the planet.

In December last year, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan held a meeting with representatives of large retail chains and organizations, where they talked about the importance of environmental awareness events.

A meeting of the Presidium of the Expert Council under the Federation Council Committee on Agrarian and Food Policy and Environmental Management was held in the Northern Capital of Russia with the participation of representatives of ministries and departments. The meeting was attended by the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Alexander Shadrikov via videoconference.

20 thousand cubic meters of sand illegally mined west of the village of Ilyinka, Nizhnekamsk. The fact of theft was recorded by inspectors of the Zakamsky territorial department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Following the appeals of citizens, inspectors of the Kama territorial administration of the Ministry went to one of the enterprises of Avtograd.

Tatarstan's readiness for the passage of the spring flood was discussed today at a meeting of the Commission for the Prevention and Elimination of Emergency Situations and Ensuring Fire Safety of the Republic of Tatarstan. 

Ecologists of the Priiksky territorial Administration of the Ministry prepared a presentation about the world of flora and fauna specifically for students of the MBOU "Gymnasium of Aznakaevo". On the way, young travelers explored the environment, learned what plants and animals inhabit their native land. Obstacles and trials awaited them along the way. Ingenuity and savvy helped to work through difficulties. In a playful way, the children learned the rules of safe behavior in the forest and determined what contribution they themselves can make to the preservation of natural resources.  Such events help children to expand their ecological horizons and form a careful attitude to nature, experts of the Priiksky TA note.

Today, First Deputy Minister of Ecology Airat Shigapov told reporters about the launch of a project that will improve the ecological condition of rivers and reservoirs. The first object of study is the Kazanka River. The project was included in the list of socio-economic projects of Tatarstan supervised by Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of Russia D.N.Chernyshenko.
