Environmentalists stopped the illegal extraction of opium in Nizhnekamsk

20 thousand cubic meters of sand illegally mined west of the village of Ilyinka, Nizhnekamsk. The fact of theft was recorded by inspectors of the Zakamsky territorial department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan. The environmental violation was reported by concerned residents through the Internet reception of the Ministry. At the time of the environmentalists' departure, an excavator, a loader and dump trucks were working on site. According to environmentalists, the violator acted without an appropriate license for subsurface use, and this became the basis for bringing a legal entity to administrative responsibility under Part 1 of art.7.3 Administrative Code of the Russian Federation. In addition, the violator faces criminal liability. The materials were sent to the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Nizhnekamsk district of the Republic of Tatarstan.
