"Sort at a profit!" Schoolchildren have already appreciated the convenience of recycling kiosks, now it's the parents' turn
In December last year, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan held a meeting with representatives of large retail chains and organizations, where they talked about the importance of environmental awareness events. One of the main topics was the issue of separate waste collection. Many large companies support the implementation of the national goal to reduce the amount of waste sent to the landfill. Automatic devices for separate collection of plastic bottles and aluminum cans have already appeared in some schools, now students can transfer useful habits of separate collection to their parents by going on joint purchases. Recycling kiosks were installed in Lenta stores on Gabishev and Kopylov streets. The collected recyclables are sent for sorting and processing. "It's a game for me, but it's a great benefit for the environment," says Anisa Shagidullina, a student of the 3rd "A" class. She learned to collect garbage separately herself, and now she teaches this to all her acquaintances and friends. "Living eco-friendly is easy, you need to know a few rules and apply them in life."
