It is planned to finish cleaning of bitumen in Derbyshki in October

27 September 2013, Friday
Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Artem Sidorov familiarized with the course of works on cleaning of bitumen at the woodland of Derbyshki village in Kazan. As it was noted, the main part of the territory has already been cleaned. Nevertheless, according to Minister, the most difficult and careful work is ahead, since bitumen is mainly left at hard-to-access places, i.e. among trees. In the nearest future the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan will arrange Saturday work, where bitumen at hard-to-access places will be cleaned manually.
Today, about 20 truckloads of viscous mass are removed daily. More than a half of bitumen spilled at the woodland of Derbyshki village has been removed and taken to the landfill of “Vozrozhdenie” ZAO.
Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Artem Sidorov ordered to accelerate work and finish the cleaning process by the end of October.
