Fellow workers of the laboratory of the South-Eastern Territorial Department gave a tour for the students of the Faculty of Ecology of the College of Economics and Law under the Almetyevsk Branch of the Institute of Economics, Management and Law in the framework of the Year of Environment-oriented Culture and Nature Protection in the Republic of Tatarstan. Environment specialists-to-be familiarized with the work of two stations for analytical control of ambient air in Almetyevsk. They are located in N. Maktama community on the territory ofPreschool No. 64 and on the territory of Secondary School ofKaleykino village. All day long, the automatic station for ambient air monitoring automatically measuresmeteorological parametersof the atmosphere and concentrations of contaminants in the ambient air includingcarbon oxide, carbon dioxide, nitrogen oxides, hydrocarbons, sulfurated hydrogen, dust, ozone and so on.

Today, Rustem Kamalov, the First Deputy Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan and Chief State Inspector of the Republic of Tatarstan, met with Gustav Kroyder, an advisor for Eastern Europe, certified engineer, and physicist. The meeting was devoted to consideration of experience of German enterprises in energy conservation and heat recovery. Andrey Kalayda, the Deputy Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, and Mansur Khasanov, a representative of Tatneft Invest-Holding JSC, also took part in the meeting.
