Results of the Priiksk Territorial Department Work

A wrap-up meeting devoted to summing-up of the results for the year of 2012 took place in the Priiksk Territorial Department. Radik Gaynetdinov, the Head of the Subsurface Management Regulatory Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, and Nazyat Nagimov, the acting Head of the Aznakayevsk municipal region, took part in the meeting.
Khalil Mustakimov, the Head of Priiksk Territorial Department, made a substantive report for the last year as well as outlined primary objectives to be carried out the following year. According to him, in 2012 the department work was focused on creating favorable environmental situation and decreasing of the level of environmental impact in the territory under its jurisdiction. The department worked hand in hand with both federal and republican state bodies regarding environmental protection. He also pointed out that the department worked in close interaction with the executive committees and heads of administrations of the territory under its jurisdiction in the course of the whole year. Issues concerning increase of monitoring effectiveness in terms of violators bringing to administrative liability according to Art. 20.25, 7.3, 8.14, 8.15, 8.42, etc. were brought up for discussion. There is a positive trend in terms of the department participation in judicial practice too. Besides main activity on environmental control, territorial department actively participated in maintenance and development of the system of continuous environmental education and extension as well as education of a young generation of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Radik Gaynetdinov estimated activity of the Priiksk Territorial Department in 2012 as sufficient but wished to improve overall performance.
Nazyat Nagimov dwelled on an issue of a temporary waste storage in the settlements of the Aznakayevsk region, having noted that 4 million rubles were financed from the budget for its arrangement.

According to good tradition, the Ministry of Ecology hosted a New Year's tree for the children of the department's employees.
Inspectors of the Central Department, together with representatives of the Kazan Interdistrict Environmental Prosecutor's Office and the Office of the Federal Service for State Registration, Cadastre and Cartography of the Republic of Tatarstan, conducted a survey of the territory of the Zelenodolsk district.
The events were held in the Zainsky district. The commission included inspectors from the Zakamsky Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan received an appeal from residents about violations of environmental legislation in the Yelabuga district. Inspectors from the Kama Department went to the site and confirmed the fact of dumping production and consumption waste into the territory of the Bug River water protection zone.
