Fellow workers of the laboratory of the South-Eastern Territorial Department gave a tour for the students of the Faculty of Ecology of the College of Economics and Law under the Almetyevsk Branch of the Institute of Economics, Management and Law in the framework of the Year of Environment-oriented Culture and Nature Protection in the Republic of Tatarstan. Environment specialists-to-be familiarized with the work of two stations for analytical control of ambient air in Almetyevsk. They are located in N. Maktama community on the territory ofPreschool No. 64 and on the territory of Secondary School ofKaleykino village. All day long, the automatic station for ambient air monitoring automatically measuresmeteorological parametersof the atmosphere and concentrations of contaminants in the ambient air includingcarbon oxide, carbon dioxide, nitrogen oxides, hydrocarbons, sulfurated hydrogen, dust, ozone and so on.
Head of the LaboratoryGulnara Teregulova told about the peculiarities of work and tasks of the enterprise, which mainly include tracking of ecological situation in Almetyevsk where a lot of automobile transport and industrial enterprises arelocated.
During the tour, the students asked various questions, put forward ideas and voiced their opinions regarding punitive measures for committed violations. Many students asked about vacancies and expressed their desire to undertake internship at the South-Eastern Territorial Department in order to gain more experience in the field.
Inspectors of the Central Department, together with representatives of the Kazan Interdistrict Environmental Prosecutor's Office and the Office of the Federal Service for State Registration, Cadastre and Cartography of the Republic of Tatarstan, conducted a survey of the territory of the Zelenodolsk district.
The events were held in the Zainsky district. The commission included inspectors from the Zakamsky Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan received an appeal from residents about violations of environmental legislation in the Yelabuga district. Inspectors from the Kama Department went to the site and confirmed the fact of dumping production and consumption waste into the territory of the Bug River water protection zone.
