Extra-Mural Meeting of the Interdepartmental Working Group

An extra-mural meeting of the operating interdepartmental working group on environmental safety ensuring while Nizhnekamsk industrial hub developing, created by the order of the Cabinet of the Republic of Tatarstan No. 904-p as of 08.06.2010, took place in Nizhnekamsk.

The following issues were considered at the meeting under the chairmanship of the Head of the working group and First Deputy Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustem Kamalov with the participation of the Head of municipal entity “Nizhnekamsk Municipal Region” Aydar Metshin:

1) On the accomplishment of the campaign in the course of 2012 within the framework of the long-term special-purpose program “Environmental Protection of Nizhnekamsk and the Nizhnekamsk Municipal Region for 2012-2015” approved by the decision of the Cabinet of the Republic of Tatarstan No. 222 (Program) as of 16.03.2012, and on the tasks for 2013;

2) On the monitoring system in the catchment area of the Nizhnekamsk industrial hub and air quality in Nizhnekamsk during the periods of unfavorable weather conditions;

3) On the work progress on the modification of the Project of the unified scheduled sanitation and protection zone of the Nizhnekamsk industrial hub.

In the course of the meeting the members of the operating working group determined the necessity of further efficient execution of the Program, ensuring environmental monitoring in the catchment area of the Nizhnekamsk industrial hub as well as realization of the actions provided by the Project of the unified scheduled sanitation and protection zone of the Nizhnekamsk industrial hub by the enterprises of the above mentioned hub.
