Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Egor Tarnavsky told about the results of the implementation of the six-year federal project on the improvement of the Volga River in Tatarstan, a new federal project on the improvement of water bodies, clearing of Noksa and Melekeski in an interview.

The spring is located near the village of Yamash in Almetyevsk district. It is popularly called the "Holy Baby's Head". Old-timers say that the name appeared back in the 80s, when a key welled up at the bottom of the hill and resembled a baby's head.

Inspectors of the Southeastern Department of the Ministry of Ecology revealed the fact of unauthorized waste disposal on R. Fahretdin Street in Almetyevsk. The area of the contaminated site was 5,200 sq.m. 

The republican contest "Eco-spring" started on April 1, along with a sanitary and environmental two-month period. During this time, 906 applications were received from residents of Tatarstan.

Within the framework of the two-month period, inspectors of the Kama Department of the Ministry of Ecology conducted environmental monitoring in Naberezhnye Chelny. 

Inspectors of the Northern Directorate held an eco-lesson on the importance of caring for the outside world. They told what needs to be done to keep the planet clean, introduced the kids to important eco-habits and amazing facts about nature.

During an on-site inspection of the territory of the Aznakaevsky district by inspectors of the Priiksky Department of the Ministry of Ecology on Lesnaya Street, in the village of Aktyubinsky, unauthorized storage of garbage in the form of fiberglass waste, rubber on a total area of 930 sq.m., the volume of the landfill was 450 cubic meters.
