During a survey of the territory of the Yelabuga district, inspectors from the Kama Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan revealed a violation of environmental legislation. Environmentalists have established restrictions on residents' access to the Tanayka River and its coastline.
In the village of Tanayka, environmentalists recorded that a local individual entrepreneur had installed a wooden fence in the water protection zone of the river, which contradicts the Water Code of the Russian Federation, according to which the coastal strip is intended for public use and access to it should be free. This fence serves as part of a paddock organized for keeping and breeding horses.
The Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan has issued a warning to an individual entrepreneur about the inadmissibility of violating mandatory requirements. If the fence is not removed voluntarily, all materials will be sent to the court.
