The federal project "Water of Russia" of the new national project "Environmental Well-being" has agreed to include two events from the Republic of Tatarstan. This was announced by the Minister of Ecology Alexander Shadrikov at a press conference. This is the clearing of the channels of the Melekeski rivers in Naberezhnye Chelny and Noks with tributaries in Kazan.
The national project "Ecology" is coming to its end. But the work on reducing the negative impact on the environment will not stop there. By decision of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, the launch of a new national project "Environmental well-being" has been initiated, which will be a logical continuation of the previous one.
A large press conference on ecology was held in Kazan today with the participation of Alexander Shadrikov, head of the Environmental protection Department, and Azat Khamaev, Chairman of the Committee of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan on Ecology, Nature Management, Agro-industrial and Food Policy.
At the end of June, 6 saker falcon chicks were taken to the Kamsko-Ustinsky district of the Republic of Tatarstan, where they were under the protection of ornithologists and volunteers, and later released into the wild. All the falcons started to fly, began to hunt independently and explore new territories.
A large-scale event for schoolchildren will be held with the support of the Chelyabinsk Zinc Plant.
On August 31, the next stage of the School Eco-patrol competition is coming to an end. Over 3 thousand applications were received from students of the republic in the 2023/2024 academic year.
During the operational and preventive event "Clean Air", employees of the Ministry of Ecology, together with the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan and the interregional territorial Directorate of Rostransnadzor for the Volga Federal District, inspected 3,482 vehicles for the environmental friendliness of their exhaust gases. 3129 passenger cars, 224 trucks, 129 buses were checked.
During the monitoring of the Tetyushsky district, inspectors of the Zavolzhsky Department of the Ministry of Ecology discovered a landfill in the city of Tetyushi on Kamaya Street, 1. The clutter area was 25 sq.m.
2,663 of them were received through the School Eco-patrol mobile application, 989 notifications were received in the People's Control system, 150 appeals were registered on the POS feedback platform and 2,329 – through the Ministry's Internet reception.
The restriction of free access to the Alexandrovka River was revealed by inspectors of the Priiksky department in the Bavly district.
