Specialists of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan took part in comprehensive exercises to eliminate oil spills
The events were held in the Zainsky district. The commission included inspectors from the Zakamsky Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The exercises were held in the village of Verkhnyaya Uratma, on the territory of "System of field (inter-field) pipelines of the Verkhne-Uratminskoye oil field" hazardous production facility. According to legend, as a result of corrosive wear, the oil and gas separator was depressurized. 200 cubic meters of oil were spilled. There is a real threat of contamination of the territory.
The specialists of the Elkhovneft oil and gas production department, together with professional rescuers from RegionSpas, promptly reacted and worked out the notification of all services and departments about the emergency situation, evacuation of personnel, and restricted the access of unauthorized persons to the danger zone. The participants conducted a survey of the territory, determined the boundaries and volumes of the spill. After that, the specialists eliminated the oil spill with the help of special equipment.
As a result of the exercises, the conditional spill was completely eliminated, and the actions of the participants were assessed satisfactorily.
