The International Snowdrop Day is traditionally celebrated on April 19th.
This delicate, fragile flower has long been a symbol of the end of winter and the beginning of spring. The holiday, which was dedicated to him, gives spring warmth, inspires joy, hope and brings smiles to faces.

Since the beginning of the year, 17 automatic air pollution control stations have already performed more than 1.329 million measurements, including five automatic air pollution control stations in Kazan that have performed more than 414 thousand measurements.

The youth environmental movement "It will be Clean" gathered 60 eco-activists at Bolsheatninsky secondary school. At the forum, participants learned about environmental projects and competitions that are currently underway in the republic, including the Eco-spring competition, which is currently being held by the Ministry of Ecology. Each participant visited interactive and educational sites, a competitive program, and environmental workshops.

Tomorrow, April 20, all residents are expected at a clean-up on Komsomolskoye Lake in the village of Derbyshki. 

A sanitary and environmental two-month period has started in Tatarstan since April 1.  In the first two weeks of the eco-event, 45 thousand residents of the Republic have already taken part in it.
