Leninogorsk prepares to clean up the city

On April 22 and 29 residents of Leninogorsk will go out to clean streets and parks of foliage and debris. Details on the all-city clean-up were discussed at a meeting in the city administration. The event was attended by representatives of the executive power of the district, heads of enterprises, the South-East Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. Specialists of the Ministry of Ecology stressed that within the sanitary-ecological two-month campaign all settlements of Tatarstan should be brought to a proper condition. Also recalled about the contests Eco-school, Eco-family, Eco-enterprise, Eco-university, Eco-kindergarten, Eco-community (for public environmental organizations, associations), Eco-center (for city children’s eco-biological centers) and “100 green corners of the Republic of Tatarstan”, in which the most active kindergartens and schools will receive planting materials for the improvement of their territories to create additional public spaces.
