Farid Abdulganiev: “Thanks to such volunteers, a sanitary-ecological two-month campaign is gaining every day in terms of number and quality of environmental activities carried out”

Today, the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Farid Abdulganiev, took part in a mass clean-up in the Zelenodolsky district. Together with the chief ecologist of the republic, representatives of the district executive authorities, labor collectives, students and schoolchildren came out to clean the territory. Together, they put in order the strip of the “Kazan-Zelenodolsk” highway, removed debris, windfall and deadwood. As the Minister of Ecology of Tatarstan Farid Abdulganiev noted, Zelenodolsk has been the leader for active participation of residents of the district in the sanitary-ecological two-month campaign. Some time before, to improve the district’s territory came out more than 2500 not indifferent residents of Zelenodolsk. “Thanks to these volunteers, a two-month sanitary-and-ecological campaign is gaining in terms of the number and quality of environmental activities”. In Tatarstan, half a million people went out to clean the territories. Even bigger activities are ahead, I’m sure this figure will increase”, – Minister Farid Abdulganiev noted.
