A joint visiting meeting of the Committee of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan on Ecology, Nature Management, Agro-industrial and Food Policy and the Expert Council under the Committee is taking place today on the basis of the Ministry of Ecology. 

From June 1 to September 30, specialists from the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, together with employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan and the interregional territorial Directorate of Rostransnadzor for the Volga Federal District, will take measures to identify excess pollutants in the exhaust gases of vehicles. During the operation period, it is planned to inspect more than 6 thousand vehicles.

This weekend, an environmental campaign was held on Lake Komsomolskoye, with the support of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. The event has been held annually for more than ten years and has become a good tradition among activists and local residents.

During the monitoring of Kazan, the inspectors of the Central Department found more than 10 landfills near the municipal solid waste landfill on Khimicheskaya Street.

On the first day of summer, one of the brightest holidays is traditionally celebrated - Children's Day! 

The Eco-spring competition, which has become a real environmental marathon and an annual tradition of encouraging the most active and caring participants from all over the republic, has come to an end in the Republic of Tatarstan. This year, the organizers received more than 1,000 applications, and each week of the marathon was devoted to a separate topic, from landscaping to promoting eco-education.

Tatarstan summed up the results of the sanitary and environmental two months: the involvement of citizens is growing, the number of complaints is decreasing.

An eco-campaign in support of the national project "Ecological Well-being" will be held on the territory of Komsomolskoye Lake tomorrow, May 31 at 10:00. The program includes quest games, master classes, shore cleaning and a hot field kitchen.

 The main topic of discussion was the issue of eliminating the object of accumulated environmental damage.
