Walking, two-wheeled and public transport. This is how the Day without a car is held in the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Tatarstan today. Minister Farid Abdulganiyev took advantage of public transport today, having walked most of the way. State nature protection inspectors gave their preference to two-wheeled transport. By the way, ECO-bicycle patrol is an innovation of the current year. Now in the republic many inspections are conducted on bicycles.

Today is the Day without a car. The global campaign aims to recall the negative impact of cars on the environment and encourage people to the idea of ​​using alternative means of transportation: public transport, bicycles. By tradition, on the Day without a car, the employees of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan get to work on public and two-wheeled transport.

Imprisonment for two years. Such a punishment will incur the inhabitant of Kazan for illegal sand extraction in Laishevo district. The decision on the fact of theft of minerals was taken by the Laishevo District Court. Infringement of the nature protection legislation was revealed by the inspectors of the Central territorial administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan in November 2016.

There is much to learn in Tatarstan, and there is something to adopt. On the example of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, other regions should work, said Anatoly Bykov, head of the Nizhny-Volzhsky Basin Water Administration. Today, the XVIII meeting of the Nizhnevolzhsky Basin Council was held in Kazan. One of the key themes was the rehabilitation of the Volga River.

Enterprises and organizations of the Republic of Tatarstan can take part in the 10th International Conference DUST-GAS-TREATMENT-2017, which will be held in Moscow on September 26-27, 2017. Waste processing and recycling, air pollution and the continued river channel straightening of the Sulcha river. The first stage of the project “Ecology of the native land”, organized by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan and the regional branch of the Russian Geographical Society in the Republic of Tatarstan, has ended. About 100 works have been submitted for participation, among which seven chosen for the live stage. The list of finalists included projects of students from Kazan, Zainsk, Nizhnekamsk, Almetyevsk, Baltasins, Muslyumov and Kaibitsy districts. 

“We save nature for Hundred years!”. Under this motto, from September 29 to October 1, 2017 the All-Russian Forum on Specially Protected Natural Territories will be held in Sochi. The event is organized by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation. In the year of the centennial anniversary of the Russian reserve system, the forum will also be a kind of reporting event, which will summarize the interim results of the Year of Protected Areas, and a platform for developing and discussing further plans for the development of Russian specially protected natural areas.

Today in Kazan, the day of the race was held – “Race of Nation – 2017”. The team of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, led by Minister Farid Abdulganiev, took an active part in the mass sport event. “This is not just a sport, but socially significant event. By our example we promote a healthy lifestyle and attract to sports and physical education. And the concepts of health and ecology are inseparable,” the Minister noted.
