The V All-Russian Congress on Environmental Protection and the II International Exhibition and Forum "Ecotech" will be the final events of the Year of Ecology. Within the framework of the congress, the results of work in the field of environmental protection for four years will be summed up and plans for the next period will be outlined. The Union of Journalists of Russia together with the newspaper "Nature of Altai" and the public ecological movement "Start from home" is holding a competition "Silver swift of Russia - start from your home" - 2017, where journalists who write on the ecology theme and gifted children can take part. The term “environmental information” will be introduced into Russian legislation, according to the official website of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation. This issue was considered at the IV meeting of the Working Group of the Ministry of Natural Resources of Russia on the UNECE Convention on Access to Information, Public Participation in Decision-making and Access to Justice in Environmental Matters (Aarhus Convention). The importance of the separate waste collection was discussed by the students of Naberezhnye Chelny during the ECO-lesson conducted by the specialists of the Prikamsky Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. During the event, schoolchildren learned the types of waste, the importance of garbage sorting, and how to give the second life to household waste at home. Also, the children took part in the ECO game: they competed for speed and knowledge of trash sorting. As noted by schoolchildren, separate waste collection is an example of an green way of life.

On November 24 the results of the 5th Open Republican Youth contest of Social Environmental Advertising “Clean look” will be summed up in Kazan. This year, more than 1,300 young people from 41 regions of the country took part in the contest.

The idea of ​​the contest was to express personal attitude to a particular problem in the field of ecology through photos, videos, films, or posters. The subjects of the works submitted by the participants reflect various aspects of environmental protection activities, touches upon the issues of environmental education, the application of "green technologies", and the environment protection.

From November 30 to December 1, 2017 the VIII specialized exhibition and congress " Clean water. Kazan " will be held in the exhibition center Kazanskaya Yarmarka. Today, the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Farid Abdulganiev got acquainted with the course of works on the shore protection of the Klyancheyka river in the village of Klyancheno, Verkhneuslon district. Work in this area was carried out in the second half of 2017 to protect people from spring floods and create a fire-fighting water supply. In addition, an earth dam was constructed to repair the road that connects two settlements, Klyancheno and Novlyanka.
