Today, the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Farid Abdulganiev got acquainted with the course of works on the shore protection of the Klyancheyka river in the village of Klyancheno, Verkhneuslon district. Work in this area was carried out in the second half of 2017 to protect people from spring floods and create a fire-fighting water supply. In addition, an earth dam was constructed to repair the road that connects two settlements, Klyancheno and Novlyanka. As Farid Abdulganiyev noted, this was extremely necessary, since the road for the Novlyanka residents is the main link with other settlements. At present, the main works on river bank protection have been carried out. The old water drain and spillway structure was dismantled, a new water drainage device and a fish catcher were installed, excavation work was carried out to install a drainage ditch, and 5 pipelines of the emergency spillway structure were installed. "The readiness of the facility is very high, but it is still necessary to strengthen and complete the shore protection work on the river Klyancheyka," the Minister of Ecology of Tatarstan said. In the near future, there will be laid the gabions and mattresses Reno, gravel on the crest of the dam and the vegetation layer, the earthen slopes will be levelled, a stone layer will be added at the outlet from the emergency spillway, and signal posts will be installed.
