Works of journalists and gifted children are accepted for contest "Silver swift of Russia - start with your home" - 2017

The Union of Journalists of Russia together with the newspaper "Nature of Altai" and the public ecological movement "Start from home" is holding a competition "Silver swift of Russia - start from your home" - 2017, where journalists who write on the ecology theme and gifted children can take part. The competition is aimed at protecting the rights of citizens in the field of the ecology protection, the formation of an ecological culture and improving the awareness of the population, educating children and youth in an active life position. Participants can be:

- journalists who write in the mass media on the topics of ecology, environmental protection, and small homeland;

- authors who write fiction about the nature of Russia;

- young artists, drawing on the themes of nature;

- young photographers, displaying the beauty of their native country.

The competition is held in the following categories:

1. For printed media:

- Environmental investigation;

- Feature article. The topic is about the harmony of nature and people who devoted their lives to protecting nature;

- Popular scientific article on environmentally efficient, safe and energy-intensive technologies of the future;

- Photo essay and photo report;

- The best specialized "green" edition;

- The best children's environmental publication;

- The best regional "green" edition;

2. For broadcast media:

- The best TV program (video) about ecology (environmental investigation, people who dedicated their lives to ecology, protected areas, rare species);

- The best radio program about ecology (environmental investigation, people who dedicated their lives to ecology, protected areas, rare species);

3. For online publications:

- For completeness and accuracy of ecology coverage by the Internet;

- The best Internet video (story) about nature and man;

- The best internet portal about ecology.

4. For authors of prose and poetry about nature:

- The best story (a selection of stories);

- The best story about nature;

- The best poems about nature.

The works should be sent before December 20, 2017 to e-mail: briolett@yandex.ru and prirodaaltai@mail.ru with a theme "Silver Strizh of Russia".
