A team of schoolchildren from the Republic of Tatarstan has reached the finals of the prestigious All-Russian Children's Environmental Forum. Their innovative project "Clear Sky" combines modern technologies and environmental education to create an effective air quality control system in children's institutions.

Earlier, during the monitoring of the territory of the Nurlatsky district, inspectors of the Southeastern Department revealed a violation of environmental legislation. In Nurlat, on Skladskaya Street, environmentalists discovered an unauthorized landfill of construction waste. Waste from the demolition and dismantling of buildings and the bricklaying were found on the site. 

On the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan, together with the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Tatar Branch of Rostransnadzor, continues Operation Clean Air, which takes place in support of the national project "Environmental well-being". Control measures have already been carried out in 23 districts of the republic.

The Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan has received 2,685 reports on the organization and results of industrial environmental control (PEC) in 2024. This is 10% more than in 2023, which indicates the growing involvement of enterprises in environmental control.

During the monitoring of the Nizhnekamsk district, environmentalists discovered an unauthorized quarry in the village of Bolshye Ata Krasnokadkinsky rural settlement. During the survey of the territory, sand mining was not carried out, there was no equipment near the quarry, however, fresh traces of previous work on this land were identified.

Earlier, during the monitoring of the territory of the Chistopolsky district, inspectors of the Volzhsko-Kamsky department found a violation of environmental legislation in Chistopol on the Kh. Taktash st; environmentalists have identified a large unauthorized landfill of housing waste and construction and repair waste.

Comprehensive oil spill response exercises were held in Almetyevsk and Nizhnekamsk districts. The commission included inspectors from the Southeastern and Zakamsky departments of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Environmentalists reviewed and resolved 3392 appeals out of 3,873 received by the Republican Public Environmental Reception.

During the inspection of the Mamadyshsky district, inspectors of the Prikamsky department revealed a violation. Environmentalists have discovered an unauthorized landfill in the form of scrap reinforced concrete products on Cooperative Street in the village of Kamenny Pochinok.

Inspectors from the Northern Department conducted an environmental lesson in kindergarten No. 3 in Tyulyachinsky district, dedicated to water resources.
