The court upheld the environmentalists' demands and ordered the violator to liquidate the landfill in Menzelinsk within three months
Earlier, inspectors of the Kama Department found a violation of environmental legislation regarding the management of industrial and consumer waste. As part of the monitoring of Menzelinsk, environmentalists recorded unauthorized waste storage.
The total area of the landfill was 182 sq.m., the volume was 82 cubic meters.
According to an extract from the unified state register of real estate, the land belongs to the Executive Committee of the town. A warning was sent to the Executive Committee about the inadmissibility of violations of mandatory requirements of environmental legislation.
Upon repeated on-site inspection, it was found that the landfill was only partially eliminated.
The inspectors appealed to the Menzelinsky District Court with a statement of claim. The court satisfied the requirements of the Ministry and ordered to eliminate the violation within three months.
