The solid waste landfill of the organization “Landscaping and gardening”, located in Leninogorsk district, is to suspend its activity. This decision was made by the Supreme Court of the Republic of Tatarstan. The main reason for the suspension was the absence of a license for handling production and consumption waste. This fact was revealed by the inspectors of the South-Eastern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan and by the employees of the Tatar Environmental Interdistrict Prosecutor's Office during the inspection.
The city beach in Chistopol became the central point not for recreation, but for the Republican campaign “Clean Coast”. The city residents together with specialists of the Volga-Kama territorial administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan cleaned the Kama River bank. It was cleaned of plastic bags, plastic and glass bottles, which, according to the participants, not only harm the environment, but also pose a threat to human health. Environmentalists positively assessed the active participation of citizens in the eco-action.

“Kazan-Arena” meets ECO standards. Based on the results of the experts’ inspection, the Kazan stadium was awarded a “green” certificate of compliance according to the criteria of “RUSO. Football stadiums”. The sports facility was the first in the country to receive certification under the Russian system. The award of the certificate confirms the application of the energy saving system, resource saving, and rational waste management, i.e. at the stadium a separate garbage collection is organized, and water consumption is reduced.
