In 2026, the implementation of the Recycling School: Electronics program in support of the national Environmental Well-being project continues in the Republic of Tatarstan. In February, 11.8 tons of waste from electronic and electrical equipment were collected and disposed of as part of the program. According to Federal Law No. 89-FZ "On Production and Consumption Waste", manufacturers and importers are required to organize the disposal of waste generated by the use of their goods and packaging. This applies to both legal entities and individual entrepreneurs producing goods and packaging in Russia, as well as importers who import goods, including packaging, from countries within and outside the Eurasian Economic Union.
