"Ecology, the world and us": a conference of young researchers was held in Alekseevsky district
The annual Republican scientific and practical conference "Ecology, the World and us" was held at Alekseevskaya School No. 2 named after Hero of the Soviet Union Ivan Egorovich Kochnev.
About 100 schoolchildren from all over Tatarstan took part. Ilyas Gallyamov, an inspector of the Volga-Kama Department, evaluated the work.
The students prepared research on the nature of their native land, the historical and cultural heritage of their small homeland, and also touched upon the protection of rare animals and plants.
"I am glad that students take research seriously and offer specific solutions to environmental problems. Such conferences help to educate a caring generation who will have to protect nature," said Ilyas Gallyamov, inspector of the Volga—Kama Department.
There was also a separate section for teachers: they demonstrated their work experience in the formation of functional literacy and the development of environmental education.
The jury members highly appreciated the level of work done, and in the end awarded the winners and thanked the participants for their work.
This year, the Republican Scientific and Practical Conference "Ecology, the World and us" was held for the 7th time. The main goal is to intensify environmental research and involve schoolchildren in environmental protection issues. The event is aimed at achieving the goals of the national project "Environmental well-being".
