The ecological campaign "Garden of Memory" was held in Bavly, dedicated to the Year of Defender of the Fatherland and the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
From May 13 to May 15, the IX Republican Forum of youth environmental organizations "ECO-wave" was held on the basis of the health and training complex "Baytik", which brought together more than 150 young activists from all over Tatarstan.
Today, the Federal Agency for Water Resources (Rosvodresursy) held a meeting on the establishment of operating modes of the Lower Volga reservoirs. The discussion was attended by representatives of the Nizhnevolzhsky and Kama basin administrations of Rosvodresursy, the subjects of the Russian Federation — the Republic of Mari El, the Republic of Tatarstan, Ulyanovsk, Samara, Astrakhan regions, as well as representatives of JSC SO UES and PJSC RusHydro. Alexander Shadrikov, Minister of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan, took part in the meeting on behalf of the Republic of Tatarstan.
In the territory of Nizhnekamsk, within the framework of the sanitary and ecological two-month period, inspectors of the Zakamsky department revealed violations.
On the territory of the Malobuinkovsky rural settlement, specialists from the Zavolzhsky Department of the Ministry of Ecology, together with representatives of the Buinsky Forestry, the State Committee for Bioresources, employees of Buinskgaz, the Society of Hunters and Fishermen of the Republic of Tatarstan and volunteers, conducted an environmental campaign "Plant a Tree." The participants planted 9,000 seedlings of coniferous trees.
As part of the sanitary two-month period, environmentalists continue to identify unauthorized landfills. During the monitoring, violations were detected in Aznakaevo and in the Yutazinsky district.
The XIV All-Russian Festival of Pedagogical Ideas on environmental education took place on the basis of the kindergarten "Teremok" in Buinsk as part of the implementation of the international program "Eco-schools / Green Flag". Inspectors from the Zavolzhsky Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan took part in it, listening to reports from the participants.
The Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan received information about several illegal waste storage sites in the Novo-Savinovsky district of Kazan. Inspectors from the Central Department went to inspect the territories of the Savinovo residential area and Fatykh Amirkhan Street.
Today, within the framework of the international forum "Russia – the Islamic World: KazanForum", a session "Ecology of industrial cities, or how to ensure the well-being of the habitat for the population of large megacities" was held, at which Alexander Shadrikov, Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, delivered a report on the environmental development of Kazan.
