10 thousand kilograms of used batteries were collected in Naberezhnye Chelny!
The republican campaign to collect spent power sources has ended in Naberezhnye Chelny. In total, 52 educational organizations and 73 preschool institutions took part in the campaign. During the entire campaign period, we managed to collect a record number of batteries - 10 190 kilograms!
The leaders were schools No. 42 and No. 41, gymnasiums No. 6 and No. 77. Among preschool institutions, the largest number of batteries were collected in kindergartens No. 112, No. 47, No. 1 and No. 121.
During the year, young residents of Naberezhnye Chelny actively participated in the collection of batteries, accumulators and other household power sources. So the children, together with teachers, educators, and parents, contributed to the preservation of the environment by supporting the goals of the national Environmental Well-being project. Now the used batteries will be taken out and disposed of according to all the rules thanks to Grinta LLC, a regional waste management operator.
