Specialists of the Zavolzhsky territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan today, within the framework of the sanitary and ecological two-month and specially for the Day of Ecological Awareness, held a lesson for first-graders of the boarding lyceum and 4th grade students of the school with in-depth study of individual subjects in Buinsk. In a playful way, the children were told and shown how to properly handle waste and how to act to reduce the garbage footprint in everyday life. At the end of the lesson, each student received memorable gifts from the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources.

The history of this holiday began in 1992, when at a UN conference where environmental problems were discussed; the great importance of environmental education for the development of mankind was emphasized.

Residents of the Novochechkabskoye rural settlement, within the framework of the sanitary and ecological two-month period and within the framework of the campaign "Water of Russia", today cleared the coastal strip of the Loschi River of garbage.  Together, about 60 kilograms of garbage were collected.

Specialists of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, together with representatives of the GBU "Road Safety" in the Republic of Tatarstan, conducted another raid to identify illegal landfills within the framework of the sanitary and ecological two-month period.
