During the sanitary and ecological two-month period, inspectors of the territorial departments of the Ministry of Ecology conduct a daily survey of the territory of settlements. In Nizhnekamsk, during such a raid, two cluttered areas behind the BSI were found.
On an area of more than 170 sq. m. environmentalists found about three hundred meters of tires from cars and trucks, and a little further they found a spill of an oil-containing product. Samples of contaminated soil were taken. Inspectors have already determined the cadastral number of the site where the tires were stored. A warning was issued to the Executive Committee of Nizhnekamsk about the inadmissibility of violating the mandatory requirements of the Federal Law "On Production and Consumption Waste" under Part 1 of art.8.2 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation.
The territory must be put in order within 60 days.
