Today, within the framework of the XX All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference named after A. I. Shchepovskikh hosted the plenary session "Strategy of ecological balance: current achievements and promising tasks of the environmental sphere." 

Today, Kazan hosts the XX All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference named after A. I. Shchepovskikh "Industrial ecology and safety".

The third stage of the pilot project of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Tatarstan branch of the Russian Geographical Society "Free Current", which is aimed at the ecological rehabilitation of the Kazanka River, continues in the Republic of Tatarstan. It is being implemented with the support of the Head of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Nurgalievich Minnikhanov.

Specialists from the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan took part in comprehensive exercises aimed at working out actions in case of emergency oil spills. The events were held in Mamadyshsky and Nizhnekamsk districts. The commission included inspectors from the Prikamsky and Zakamsky departments of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The XX All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference named after A. I. Shchepovskykh "Industrial ecology and safety"  will be held in Kazan on August 27-28, 2025. The anniversary forum, which will be held within the framework of the Tatarstan Petrochemical Forum-2025, will be dedicated to several significant dates at once: the 80th anniversary of Anatoly Ivanovich Shchepovskikh, the 65th anniversary of the Volga-Kama Biosphere Reserve and the 180th anniversary of the Russian Geographical Society.

Since June 1, the Republic of Tatarstan has been hosting the Clean Air operational and preventive event in support of the national Environmental Well-being project. The operation is being implemented by the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan, the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan and the interregional territorial Directorate of Rostransnadzor for the Volga Federal District.

In Tatarstan, work continues on the implementation of environmental protection measures at the expense of local budget revenues from environmental revenues. The events are formed within the framework of agreements concluded between the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Executive Committees of the districts.

Earlier, during the monitoring of the Mamadyshsky district, inspectors of the Prikamsky territorial Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan recorded a violation of environmental legislation. Environmentalists have identified a "wild" quarry on a plot of land in the village of Shemyak. The area of the unauthorized quarry was 134 sq.m., the depth was 1.3 m.

Inspectors of the Zavolzhsky territorial administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan conducted an educational lesson for the kids of the kindergarten "Teremok" in Buinsk. At the beginning of the lesson, the children saw an instructive cartoon that clearly demonstrates the consequences of neglecting nature. Then the ecologists had a conversation with the children about the importance of caring for the surrounding world, animals and plants. To make the lesson exciting and memorable, the kids were offered riddles, which they were happy to solve.

The KAZAN DIGITAL WEEK – 2025 International Forum will be held in Kazan from September 17 to 19. The forum will bring together world leaders, researchers and innovators to share knowledge, promote cutting-edge solutions and form a global partnership in the field of artificial intelligence.

During the monitoring of the territory of the Alkeevsky district, inspectors of the Volga-Kama Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan revealed a violation of environmental legislation. Unauthorized storage of waste from demolition and dismantling of buildings was discovered on Okolnaya Street in the village of Chuvashsky Brod.
