The All-Russian campaign "Water of Russia" was held in Novosheshminsky district
The All-Russian campaign "Water of Russia" of the national project "Ecological Well-being" was held in Cheremukhovskoye rural settlement of Novosheshminsky district.
Local residents organized a clean-up day near the Cheremukha River. The participants cleared the coastal area of debris, and also took fallen tree branches out of the water.
"Every resident is able to contribute to the improvement of the surrounding world. Such work is an important step towards preserving the natural wealth of our small Homeland," the activists noted.
Tatarstan is an active participant in the Water of Russia campaign. The republic has won the territory cleaning campaign three times, and in 2024 Tatarstan took a special place in the ranking of regions, setting three records:
- The length of the cleared shores is 10,413 km.
- The volume of collected garbage is 16,584 cubic meters.
- The number of cleanups is 9,334 events.
