On the eve of the International Day against Corruption, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan held a seminar on conflict of interest resolution, studying the requirements for civil servants, and providing information on income, expenses, and property.
The seminar was attended by more than 160 employees of the Ministry, including inspectors of territorial departments, who connected via video conference.
The speakers were Ilnur Gubaidullin, First Deputy Minister of Ecology, Renat Umetbayev, Chief Adviser of the Anti-Corruption Inspections Department of the Head of the Republic of Tatarstan on Anti-corruption policy, and Maxim Artamonov, Deputy Prosecutor of the Kazan Interdistrict Environmental Prosecutor's Office.
In his opening remarks, Ilnur Gubaidullin noted the need for strict compliance with the requirements of legislation in the field of combating corruption and stressed the importance of a responsible approach when filling out the declaration.
Renat Umetbayev presented a film about the activities of the Office of the Head of the Republic of Tatarstan on anti-corruption policy. In his speech, he elaborated on the limitations of a civil servant established by anti-corruption legislation. The speaker also listed the signs of a conflict of interest and the procedure for their prevention.
At the end of the seminar, Maxim Artamonov highlighted the main errors identified by the supervisory authority when verifying information on income, expenses, property and property obligations for 2024. He stressed that the Ministry of Ecology's work on corruption prevention is organized at a good level.
