The court upheld the environmentalists' demands and ordered the landowner to pay the amount of damage for the damage caused to the soil.
In February 2025, as part of the monitoring of Nizhnekamsk, inspectors from the Zakamsky Department revealed a violation of environmental legislation. On the territory of the garden association "Builder-5" environmentalists have recorded unauthorized storage of waste, namely concrete blocks. The total area of the landfill was 260 sq.m.
Environmentalists have calculated the amount of damage caused to the soil. It amounted to 267 thousand rubles.
It turned out that the land belongs to an individual. Environmentalists have sent a claim to the owner for compensation for damage caused to the soil as an object of environmental protection.
The landfill was eliminated, but the damage remained uncorrected. The inspectors appealed to the Nizhnekamsk City Court with a statement of claim. The court satisfied the environmentalists' demands and ordered them to reimburse the entire amount of damage.
