"Sinichkin Day" is celebrated annually on November 12, and on this day it is customary to hang out feeders and take care of feathered friends who stayed to winter next to us. The ecological campaign of caring for birds in winter was held in the city of Aznakaevo and in the Village of Kazanbash (Arsky district). The event was attended by inspectors from the Priiksky and Northern departments of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan.
In the gymnasium of Aznakaevo, schoolchildren not only got acquainted with the folk signs associated with "Sinichkin's Day", but also took an active part in practical environmental activities. Young environmentalists have made feeders with their own hands, which will be placed on the school grounds and in city parks. The event ended with a master class on creating birds using origami techniques. Each participant took a souvenir with them.
An equally exciting event was held at the Garif Akhunov Kazanbash Secondary School. Environmentalists and schoolchildren have placed feeders in the schoolyard. Employees of the Ministry of Ecology conducted a conversation with the children and told them about the rules of feeding birds in winter. The children learned that unroasted sunflower seeds, oats and dried berries are suitable as bird food, but black bread, millet, as well as salted and fried foods are extremely harmful for birds.
Such campaigns are aimed at the environmental education of the younger generation and form a responsible attitude towards nature among children, which contributes to the achievement of the goals of the national project "Environmental well-being".
