Within the framework of the state program "Environmental Protection, reproduction and use of natural resources of the Republic of Tatarstan" in Alekseevsky and Spassky districts, measures for the ecological rehabilitation of water bodies planned for 2025 have been completed. The work was aimed at restoring water bodies and preventing the negative effects of waters, as well as improving their ecological condition and increasing the comfort of coastal areas.

In the Alekseevsky district on the rivers Maly Cheremshan (village of Bilyarsk) and Akhtyrka (village of Alekseevskoye) riverbed control works have been carried out, including cleaning and dredging, strengthening the shores and landscaping the coastal strip. The total amount of financing was about 30 million rubles.

In the Spassky district on the Bezdna River near the village of Nikolskoye, a major overhaul of the pond's hydraulic structure has been carried out. 40.5 million rubles were allocated for these purposes.

The main purpose of eco-rehabilitation measures is to restore and preserve water bodies. This made it possible to enhance their natural functions: the ability to self-clean and maintain a stable ecosystem.
