Within the framework of the project "Recycling School: Electronics", waste of electronic and electrical equipment was collected in Nizhnekamsk, Naberezhnye Chelny, Mendeleevsk and Yelabuga on February 20 and 21. Budgetary institutions and organizations handed over about 10 tons of electrical equipment. All the collected equipment and scrap metal will be transferred for processing to a specialized ecological combine. 

Since the beginning of 2023, 336 appeals from Tatarstan citizens have been received by various communication channels to the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. The most pressing issue of concern to the population was the issue of atmospheric air quality. 192 appeals were received on this topic.

The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan hosted the first meeting of the new Public Council this year. It included representatives of scientific communities and public associations.

The message about the pollution of the Strelochny Log River in Nizhnekamsk was received by the Zakamsky territorial Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan. Ecologists carried out a field visit and took samples of natural water near the Sobolekovskaya road.

Pupils of the Bilingual Kindergarten No. 2 of the Kirovsky district together with teachers organized an ecological holiday, where inspectors of the Central Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan were invited.

AAPCS is located on the territory of MBOU "Lyceum No. 188" at the address Ilgama Shakirov Avenue, 3g and has already begun the first measurements of pollutants in the atmospheric air. Today, this automatic station is equipped with gas analyzers to monitor the content of major pollutants in the air, such as carbon monoxide, ammonia, nitrogen oxide, nitrogen dioxide, the sum of nitrogen oxides, hydrogen sulfide and sulfur dioxide. In the near future, it is planned to retrofit the station with an automated chromatographic complex for the determination of aromatic hydrocarbons in atmospheric air.

Specialists of the Zavolzhsky Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan, together with representatives of the RT State Committee for Bioresources, aerated an unnamed lake near the village of Adav-Tulumbaevo of the Buinsky district as part of the action "Fish will live! (Balyk – Bulsyn!)". Timely implementation of such preventive measures provides an additional amount of oxygen in the water and allows one to preserve fish stocks in reservoirs.

Earlier, the Priiksky Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan received an appeal from a resident of Bavly about a dam on the Bavlinka River. Inspectors of the Priiksky TA of the Ministry of Ecology went to the place and revealed a restriction of free access to the reservoir. The owner of the land plot was issued a warning about the inadmissibility of violating mandatory legal requirements and eliminating illegal buildings for a period of 60 days. Currently, the fence has been dismantled.

As Alexander Shadrikov noted: "The program for the improvement of water bodies, which Russian President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin spoke about today, is a project in demand and necessary for all of us. Our Republic also came out with the initiative of creating a "Improvement of Kama" federal project.
