The message about the pollution of the Strelochny Log River in Nizhnekamsk was received by the Zakamsky territorial Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan. Ecologists carried out a field visit and took samples of natural water near the Sobolekovskaya road. According to the results of the analysis of the samples, the excess of ammonium ion by 1.47 times, aluminum by 7 times, iron by 4 times and petroleum products by 2 times were revealed. Considering that there is a buffer pond located higher up the river, used for mechanical cleaning of stormwater and meltwater of an enterprise subject to federal supervision, all materials were transferred to the Volga-Kama Interregional Department of Rosprirodnadzor.
