A new composition of the Public Council under the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan has been formed in Kazan
The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan hosted the first meeting of the new Public Council this year. It included representatives of scientific communities and public associations. The Council was headed by the Honored Ecologist of the Russian Federation, Professor, Doctor of Economics Nail Gazeev. His deputy became an Honored Ecologist of the Republic of Tatarstan, Head of the Department of the Institute of Fundamental Medicine and Biology of KFU, Professor Ilgizar Rakhimov. Anna Baymyashkina, Advisor to the Chairman of the Youth Government of the Republic of Tatarstan on Ecology and Natural Resources, was appointed Secretary of the Public Council. The most important issues were also identified and plans for this year were outlined.
It is worth noting that the previous composition of the Council was formed in 2019 and 12 meetings were held over three years of work, issues related to ensuring environmental safety of the Republic of Tatarstan were considered. Members of the Public Council regularly participated in meetings of the Public Chamber of the Republic of Tatarstan and acted as experts at various competitions and venues.
The Ministry thanks everyone for their active work aimed at the benefit of the residents of the Republic of Tatarstan.
